Color: Vintage Yellow Lino

John and I bought a 1969 ranch style bungalow here in Sealy that is in much need of some new make up--thankfully her bones are still in great shape. The first room to be redone was the guest bath. I love vintage, and the floor was in good shape, just really dirty, so I spent 4 hours and a bottle of Fantastik restoring it to its former glory. Worth every minute.
The floor started out looking brown but turned out to be a lovely soft yellow with pearly bits and soft green. I decided to pull that green off the floor and onto the walls and it created a beautifully soft and romantic room.
The counter top was originally a beautiful white and mint vintage, but it was damaged so we replaced it with a factory laminated piece in a soft sand color. We used heavy duty vinyl flooring tiles to create a backsplash that is super durable and was easy to install. A mix of brass and bronze finishes the look. It's my favorite room in the house. Don't tell!
