DIY: Easy Porch Swing
The idea came from This Old House. The materials came from AL&M. I decided to build it to fit 2 24 by 24 outdoor cushions so that I would have a cozy place to relax. After that, all I needed was a chop saw, a drill, and a tape measure.
I like to wait for the husband to be away so I can build things my way--don't tell!

When photographing houses, your client's schedule doesn't always allow you to have ideal lighting, but I've found over the years that this leads to some really dramatic or romantic photos that I'm not expecting. Late afternoon lighting in the winter in Texas can be particularly soft and romantic.
